Back to Sweden with Ian Carr
I’m delighted to share that guitarist Ian Carr and I are heading to Sweden for a short tour from 4 to 7 November 2026.
Ian and I first met in 1988 at the very first Radio 2 Young Tradition Award, and more than 35 years later we’re still finding new reasons to get on a stage together. There’s something special about picking up a musical conversation with an old friend, and we’re both very excited to be doing it again.
We’ll be playing some of the tunes people know from HOOTZ! and He Thinks He’s Invisible, along with new music we’ve been working on. These gigs are also a step towards our new EP, which will be released in 2027, so Sweden will be one of the first places to hear what’s coming.
Tour dates
- Wednesday 4 November, 7:30pm: Gävle Konserthus, Gävle
- Thursday 5 November, 7:00pm: Gamla Apoteket, Upplands Väsby
- Friday 6 November, 7:30pm: Café Världen, Hudiksvall
- Saturday 7 November, 7:30pm: Backa bygdegård, Forsa
If you’re in Sweden, or have friends who are, please come along and say hello. And if you’d like us to play at your club or festival, get in touch. We’d love to come.
